The summer is rolling!!

Well it is definatley summer here in Texas! I think the highs for this week are 103 everyday! All I know is that it is hot hot out! Haley and I had fun the other evening snapping some pics inside the garage. The lighting was too great to pass up so I went and grabbed her from inside the air conditioned house.hehe. I got several cute shots! Haley just celebrated her 4th birthday and Mason will celebrate his 6th tomorrow. I can't beleive how big they are getting! We had a great party with friends and family this past weekend with a nice cool pool nearby! You can't have a party in Texas without a pool to jump in! Chad thought it would be fun to throw me into the pool fully clothed, he went in too though! It was all in good fun, he is also lucky my cell phone still works after the swim! Anyways, here are some shots of my big 4 year old girl and a couple of the party! As always I am still looking for new faces to build my portfolio and would love to book some sessions. I had the pleasure of having a session with this sweet 4 week old baby boy. He was so good for his Mom and I! He is my second newborn to shoot and I have to say I am loving doing newborns! Of course both the ones I have done so far have been real good sleepers! So here is a sneak peek of his session today. I hope his family enjoys them!

I would really like to get my photography business up and running. I am taking baby steps though. For now I am still portfolio building and need to add some cute new faces to it! Only two more days until we are officially on summer break!!! It is feeling like summer here for the past few days too. The mornings have been nice and cool thank goodness but it has been getting into the 90's by afternoon. The boys spent all weekend outside helping Dad do yard work. They are hard workers! I snapped some pictures of the gorgeous flowers that are blooming in the yard and Haley played. I did get some cute shots of the kids enjoying the outdoors this weekend. Oh and the best part of the entire weekend was that my awesome in laws bought us a patio set for our anniversary. Chad and I celebrated 10 years! I am looking forward to sitting in my set this summer and watching the kids play on our land. So much space to explore!
